BUTTERFLY!!!!

We've been watching a lot of Pocoyo around here lately. Our favorite one is when he trys to catch a butterfly but he keeps screaming BUTTERFLY!! and scaring it away! Everyone keeps telling Pocoyo to shhh! But he still screams butterfly!

Little Man likes to yell butterfly now too (but he says "fly fly!"), so I thought that he would like to make a butterfly.

I drew two wings and a body on construction paper. I let Little Man pick the color for the wings, he chose red. I was going to make the body brown but couldn't find any paper so we did it orange.

After I drew the shapes of it I let Little Man color away!

He wanted to color more on the paper that didn't have the butterfly on it but it's ok.

After he was done coloring I cut out the shapes and glued them together and we had a beautiful butterfly for Little Mans wall!
