Sewing Card

I love sewing cards. I just think that they are fun and cute for kids. So I decided to try and make my own for Little Man.

But first look at how Little Man was sleeping last night!!!

But anyways, I just colored a picture out of his coloring book. He's into boats right now so I picked a boat and glued it onto some cardboard. Then I cut around some of the cardboard so it wouldn't be too hard for his little hands to hold.

Then I took a hole puncher and punched several holes around the picture. Once that is done all you have to do is make your "needle" and yarn.

You need to measure your yarn to make sure it will go all the way around your card. I doubled mine, and tied a knot at the end. For the "needle" I used a pipe cleaner. I just cut a piece off and folded it around the loopy part of the yarn. Once this is done you need to test it out to make sure the knot at the end isn't too small. I had to tie mine three times to get it right.

Mine looks a little rough, my scissors weren't very good for the cardboard. But Little Man seems to like it and that's all that matters!! Even the older kids want me to make some for them.

Sorry I didn't take any pictures while making it, we were playing outside at the time!
